in monkey team there's an anglerfish that has evolved specifically to feed on humans by dangling a human looking baby instead of a light and that is just scraping the surface of the absolutely CURSED things happening in this show

though i remember nothing about the show itself, there was a commercial for shaman king that made me so scared as a child i never watched it again..... alas i could not find the commercial if i wanted to, so i can only bring you my spooky memory of it

for an actual thing that scared me as a child, theres this scooby-doo movie called scooby-doo goes hollywood where the only scene i can remember from it was this chanting of people going "scooby-doo, we need you!". its not supposed to be scary; according to the wikipedia page, the point of it was to cheer scooby up. kid me did NOT care she was terrifed and bawling
