in monkey team there's an anglerfish that has evolved specifically to feed on humans by dangling a human looking baby instead of a light and that is just scraping the surface of the absolutely CURSED things happening in this show

for an actual thing that scared me as a child, theres this scooby-doo movie called scooby-doo goes hollywood where the only scene i can remember from it was this chanting of people going "scooby-doo, we need you!". its not supposed to be scary; according to the wikipedia page, the point of it was to cheer scooby up. kid me did NOT care she was terrifed and bawling

(art by bardways) here's my dear oc omnia, an android model controlled by an alien that kind of works in a semi-autonomous fashion (like how an octupus's tentacles have their own separate nerve cells for each one). i haven't developed it too much, but it gains energy from low-freq EM radiation..

And I absolutely did not drop the thing I was going to show you out of my suddenly uncontrollably shaking hands and just leave it behind because I was trying to run from the scary things. Yep! Hmm I don't have a spooky OC persay (well yes but nothing recently drawn.) But if it counts, Here is one OC who I end up doing a lot of terrible things to (thus spooky). Canonically gets injured a lot (a lit is more of his doing then anything else) because his blood acts as a explosive liquid hehe.
